Összefoglaló

GPS Track Logger records a route on this iPhone. There is no account. We do not operate a tracking server, and the logged track is not uploaded to us. Nothing stored on the phone, the track or anything else, is passed to a third party; it leaves the phone only if you export it yourself as GPX or KMZ. The app uses the network for Apple Maps, for a place search, route, or address you request, and for offline map files you choose to download.

Location

The map, the GPS tab, the compass, and Start read precise location so the route can be recorded and shown. The app asks only for location While Using the App; it never asks for Always. Recording starts only when you tap Start with the app on screen. After Start, the recording continues while the screen is locked or the app is in the background, until you tap Stop. During that time iOS shows the blue location indicator. Stop turns background location updates and the indicator off. Force quitting the app from the app switcher also stops the recording, and it does not restart on its own. Outside a logging session the app never reads location in the background. Recording needs Precise Location; with reduced accuracy the app asks for temporary precise access for that route and does not start without it. The compass reads the heading sensor only while its tab is open, and the heading is not stored. The route, acceleration, and lean angle stay in SQLite on the phone. They are not sent to us. The map, a search, a route, and an address still send Apple the coordinate needed for that request (see below). This phone does not provide a satellite list or ambient temperature, so those are not stored.

Motion and barometer

While a session is logging, and only when the iPhone has the sensor, GTL reads motion and barometric pressure. Lean angle and barometric altitude are stored with the route on the phone. They are not uploaded to our servers.

Data on the iPhone

Track sessions, GPS points, speed, bearing, accuracy, acceleration, lean angle, barometric altitude and pressure, the usage type, and settings stay on the phone. An iPhone backup, including iCloud, can include this database, because the app does not exclude it from backup. Downloaded map files are excluded from that backup. You can export GPX or KMZ from Saved tracks. The file is saved in the Files app under On My iPhone → GPS Track Logger → Exports, and the system share sheet can copy it elsewhere. Delete a track in Saved tracks. Deleting the app removes the on-device copy. A copy that is already in a backup remains until you remove it from that backup.

Error log

When an operation fails, the app writes a line to an error log on the phone: the time, the operation, and the error text. The log holds no coordinates, is limited to about 256 KB per file, and is never sent anywhere. The Error log button on About opens it, and Clear deletes it. In Saved tracks, selecting one track and tapping Recorded points shows the stored points of that track as a table that can be copied. Both screens only read data that is already on the phone.

Ha egy művelet hibára fut, az app egy sort ír a telefonon lévő hibanaplóba: az időt, a műveletet és a hiba szövegét. Apple Maps, search, route, and address

Apple térkép, keresés, útvonal és cím

The Map tab uses Apple Maps: standard, satellite, and hybrid. A place search, a route to a point you tap, and an address lookup send Apple the coordinates or the map area needed for that request. On a downloaded offline map, place search runs on an index built on the phone and sends nothing; a route and an address lookup still go to Apple. The logged track database is not sent to Apple. A helykeresés, a koppintott pontig kért útvonal és a címlekérdezés az Apple-nek küldi az ehhez szükséges koordinátát vagy térképablakot. Offline map downloads

Offline térképletöltés

If you download an OpenStreetMap region, the file comes over HTTPS from the Hochschule Esslingen mirror of the Mapsforge maps (ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/Mirrors/download.mapsforge.org) and stays on the phone. The mirror sees your IP address and which file you requested. On mobile data the app shows the file size and asks before it downloads. If you download the Turistautak map, the only address used is turistautak.elte.hu/tuhu/tuhu_mapsforge.zip. The host you download from sees your IP address and which file you requested. The downloaded map is drawn on the phone, and drawing it makes no network request. Map data on an OpenStreetMap file is © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL. The Turistautak map is data from Turistautak.hu.

Ha OpenStreetMap-régiót töltesz le, a fájl HTTPS-en a Mapsforge térképek Hochschule Esslingen-i tükréről (ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/Mirrors/download.mapsforge.org) jön, és a telefonon marad. A tükör látja az IP-címedet és azt, hogy melyik fájlt kérted. Mobilhálózaton az app kiírja a fájl méretét, és letöltés előtt megkérdez. A te döntéseid

Location and motion access can be changed or withdrawn at any time in the iPhone Settings; the app’s Location settings screen opens that page. Without location the app cannot record a route. Because we hold no copy of your data, a request to access, correct, or delete it is carried out on the phone: Saved tracks deletes a track, and deleting the app deletes everything it stored.

A hely- és mozgáshozzáférés az iPhone Beállításaiban bármikor módosítható vagy visszavonható; az app Helyzet beállításai képernyője ezt az oldalt nyitja meg.
